The overall goal of the California Blood Biomarker Study is to develop better ways to identify older adults at risk for Alzheimer’s disease. We are recruiting older adult volunteers who live in California. This study uses low-cost methods such as online questionnaires and tests in the Brain Health Registry, and a “finger-stick" for collecting a small amount of blood at-home. Researchers are studying different proteins found in the blood that may be associated with the risk of Alzheimer’s disease.
